Most of life and ministry is the process, not the product. Lasting joy comes only when you learn how to find joy in the process, not just the product. It's very easy for church leaders to be living, most of the time, for another day in the future, for the product or the accomplishment of your next ministry milestone. It’s the "I'll be happy when..." syndrome. All the while, you don't realize that you're failing to enjoy the people and the ministry process of how you're getting there.
