Throughout the Scriptures you find a strong connection between prayer, the kingdom of God, and the mission of God. In the Old Testament, after the exile, the people of God lost their identity as a kingdom of priests. But the good news of the kingdom is that Jesus is now your ultimate High Priest and through your union with him by faith you have become God's promised new Kingdom of Priests in his house of prayer.

In this lesson, you’ll see how the prayers of God's people are used to advance the purposes of God's kingdom.
